I had an amazing time at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. It provided a serene escape surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and I especially loved having my own private indoor and outdoor onsens in the room. It was a unique and relaxing experience, perfect for someone like me who values privacy and was new to the onsen culture. The location in the Kumamoto-Aso area was ideal, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting for a getaway.

The scenery around the hotel is simply breathtaking. Staying at a traditional Japanese accommodation and experiencing the indoor and outdoor onsens was a unique and fascinating experience. the food served during breakfast and dinner was aesthetically pleasing and delicious.
The hotel was located in a remote area, making it difficult to access without a car. the staff could not communicate in English, making it nearly impossible to ask for help.

My new year's stay in Kyushu was fantastic. The environment was spectacular and tranquil, with stunning natural scenery. I enjoyed experiencing Japanese culture and aesthetics in a traditional building, with beautiful interior design. The room was equipped with one indoor and one outdoor onsen, which provided exceptional privacy and relaxation during my stay. the dining experience was both visually and gastronomically satisfying. The menu was carefully composed of high-quality local produce and prepared in the Kaiseki style.
The hotel's location may not be convenient for those who rely on public transportation and the language barrier made it difficult to navigate. The route planner failed halfway, which made finding the hotel a challenge.
